Kistek Ryobi 40V Battery Holder Installation Guide

               The Ryobi 40V Battery Holder is a sleek way to store your large 40V batteries. The system features active retention to securely hold the battery while mounted in any orientation.

Mounting Instructions:

1.       Locate the surface to which the holder will be mounted.

2.       Line up the front edge (the open end of the holder) with the edge of your mounting surface. The battery will protrude out a little so that the locking tab on the battery can be depressed.

3.       If a flush, or recessed mount of the battery is desired, use a ¾” piece of wood to provide a spacer between the holder and the surface so that the locking tab of the battery can be accessed and depressed.

4.       Test-fit with the battery to make sure that there is smooth operation and no obstructions in accessing the battery’s locking tab.

5.       Clamp or hold the holder in place and drive in the provided screws. You may decide to pre-drill holes or use a punch.

6.       The battery will lock into place with its locking tab, depress the tab to remove the battery from the holder.
